Beta Export is a simple program. It takes texts from the TLG and the PHI CD-ROMs and turns them into Unicode text. The Unicode text can either be a plain text file that can be edited with Notepad (or any other editor) or it can be a HTML file that can be used to display the text as a web page. Or, you can just export the text to classic BETA CODE. The program converts one entire work of a author at a time. You can convert Plato's Republic to a web page in seconds for your own personal use.
The HTML comes with a CSS style sheet which defines some of the beta code text formatting which is not character based. The whole system is simple and easy to use.
The Silver Humana 2 font is an extension of our Silver Humana Unicode font. It includes all known characters that are used in the TLG and PHI CDs and defined in Unicode. There are many other characters included as well.
